This publication, on research into the quality of life of (ex-)colorectal cancer patients, came about through a collaboration between the Belgian Cancer Registry (BCR) and Kom op tegen Kanker (Stand up to Cancer) and focuses on patients living in Flanders.
It is the first large-scale study to investigate the quality of life of (ex-)cancer patients in Flanders. In addition to this general objective, it also aims to assess the feasibility of this type of study, both in terms of methodology and the willingness of doctors, hospitals and patients to cooperate.
