EFFECT
Introduction
With around 1,300 new diagnoses in 2020, endometrial cancer is the most common gynaecological cancer in Belgium. Understanding how endometrial cancer is treated in Belgium can lead to a healthcare policy with more uniform and successful treatments in all hospitals.

Objective
Financial support and partners
The EFFECT registration project was a joint initiative of the Anticancer Fund and a representative group of Belgian gynaecologists. The latter group consisted of members of Groupement des Gynécologues Obstétriciens de Langue Française de Belgique (GGOLFB) and members of the Vlaamse Vereniging voor Obstetrie en Gynaecologie (VVOG). Kom op tegen Kanker (Stand up to Cancer) supported this project financially.
