The publication ‘Cancer Incidence Projections in Belgium, 2024 - 2035’ presents cancer incidence projections in Belgium from 2024 to 2035.
At the time of writing, nationwide cancer registration in Belgium is available from 2004 to 2023.
The cancer incidence projections obtained are derived from mathematical extrapolations of past trends in incidence and demographics, using methods described in detail further in this report. These results are not be taken as true forecasts but represent what can be expected if these past trends and the assumptions of the projection method were to be accurate over the projection time period.
